Previous reviews mentioned unfriendly, front desk, support, air conditioning issues, and lack of Wi-Fi. I did not experience any of those in my visit, the hotel was welcoming, the room was large (although I did not request a seaside view). I asked for a lower-level room (first floor), which was easily accessible by starts when the elevators got crowded. Complimentary bottles of water, decent TV channels, small refrigerator, small safe for valuables all inside the spacious room. Throughout my 7-night stay, the wifi was adequate (though I did not bring a work laptop). The amenities were just fine, and everything in the room was working including a very strong air conditioner unit. The hotel breakfast buffet was complete with breads, pastries, coffee, charcuterie, boiled eggs, fruit, just about everything except warm food (which I didn’t miss in the summertime). Laundry service was affordable and same-day service. One thing to note is that this is a giant hotel, very clean, with a large number of guests during the peak periods, and a largely international crowd. However, it is just across the water, and an excellent location near the train station, ferry and several eateries. I want to reiterate that the front desk was very helpful every time I needed something.
